Thank You, Herman.

What I am advocating is a need for us to realize that sometimes we need to stop analyzing and follow our instinct - or the GUT feeling as you put it.

Best Wishes for 2010.

It takes GUTS to do that. I like Southwest Airlines model for bucking trends. There are no formulas for decision-making but great leaders, over time, master the skill of making cutting-edge decisions that transform their industries.

Michael- great reminder for people seeking personal betterment. Especially at this time of year, when things are hectic already, the insight for perserverance is a good thing.

Have a peace filled and prosperous day!

I see your point Robert.

Generally, in such instances it does warrant deep thinking before any appropriate solution should be adopted.

It is extremely challenging for such changes to be seen in this society in the near future. However, we have the ability to create a climate of change moving forward.

Thank you for your valued comment.

What's problematic in this society is lies have been proliferated for so long, that telling the truth, in some instances, can become more detrimental than continuing with the lie.

Thanks for your valued comment.

Managers or Management cannot afford that assumption. It is incorrect to assume that human beings are untrustworthy. If they really feel that their assumption is right, "why employ human beings then?"

It will really take a long time to create a culture of trust. Why not create a climate of trust? Wouldn't it be more effective, easier to measure and putting things right on track for a conducive and productive working enviroment.

What if a manager (or management of a company) assumes that human beings are untrustworthy? I've been writing on this...as to what it tells about their attitude toward their customers. I suspect that such managers would still try to create a culture of trust, if only as a sort of window-dressing (i.e., marketing and human resource management tool). Nice blog!
